Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

- Joy of Sports Foundation's "Walk Across
America Challenge" Presented by FBR - Chamberlain
Elementary and Woodbridge
Elementary (both in the District of Columbia
and a part of the Friendship Charter Schools)along
with Ferebee Hope DC Public School will participate
in a ten-day "walk" where students,
teachers, and staff will monitor their every
step (with podimeters
donated by CareFirst Blue Cross/Blue Shield) to see
how many steps each person, and collectively each
school,
takes in a ten-day period. Special thanks to our Title
Sponsor, FBR!
May 10 -
Battle
of the Boulevard 10K Run/2K Walk (Arlington,
VA)- Join Joy of Sports Foundation along with Run
Pacers Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 8:30am for a day
of fun on the Boulevard! Watch Arlington come
alive for the inaugural running of the Battle of
the Boulevard
10K. The run will begin at Clarendon Central Park
(intersection of Wilson Boulevard & Highland
Street in Clarendon, Arlington) and run along Wilson
Boulevard through Clarendon, Courthouse, Rosslyn,
onto Route 110 and back!

LLC's "Driving for the Youth" Charity Golf
